Infrared Nondestructive Testing Technology And Its Application

Infrared nondestructive testing is a kind of non-contact on-line monitoring technology, it combines the photoelectric imaging, computer and image processing technology into one, by receiving the IR object, the temperature distribution in the image displayed on the screen, allowing the detection to accurately judge the temperature distribution on the surface of the object. It can detect the subtle thermal state changes of the equipment, accurately reflect the internal and external heating conditions of the equipment, and is very effective for the detection of early defects and hidden dangers of the equipment.

 

1. Composition and principle of infrared thermal camera

The equipment used in infrared nondestructive detection is called infrared thermal imager, which uses infrared detector, optical imaging objective lens and optical machine scanning system to receive the infrared radiation energy distribution pattern of the measured target and reflect it on the photosensitive element of infrared detector. Between the optical system and infrared detectors, there is a light engine scanning mechanism of infrared thermal image of the scanned object to be tested, and focus on the unit or spectroscopic detector, the infrared radiant energy can be converted into electrical signals by the detector, the amplification processing, conversion, or standard video signal through the television screen or monitor shows that the infrared thermal image map.

3. Application of infrared nondestructive testing technology

At present, China's infrared nondestructive testing technology has been widely used, mainly in the power industry, iron and steel industry, electronic industry, petrochemical industry, construction, aerospace and medical fields.

1) Power: mainly used for testing generator units, transmission line joints, insulation parts, etc.;
